Patricks wife here he is still groggy from anethesia but asked me to post an update. He is doing well surgery went well and so far he has gotten out of bed and had a small glass of Water. Pain is managed and all is going well.

Welcome to the losers bench! Elka, thanks for the update on Patrick. Encourage him to sip sip sip, all day. Those teeny tiny sips will add up throughout the day and that's the most important thing at first, staying hydrated.

Holy cow, has July 2 already come and gone? Unbelievable how fast June flew by.

Great to hear surgury went well and he healing process has begun. I'm looking forward to some roller coaster rides, and maybe even some skydiving.

Just.did.my.first. 2 laps in a row. Leak test went ok so now had first food. Definitely dont have much of an appetite.

Gas still hurts a bit feel better than yesterday though.

Wishing next week would hurry up and get here. Can't wait to get home and get clearance to go swimming, then I'm really gonna start rocking.
