Mushy Food "side Dish" Suggestions?

Hi, y'all.

I'm going to a 4th of July BBQ on Wednesday and told the hostess I would be glad to bring a side dish. Of course, I was thinking I could bring something I could eat on the Mushy Food / Week Three Stage since I doubt they're going to be grilling up Protein Shakes on the grill for me. :)

Any suggestions for a side dish, other than mashed potatoes?
