Any Bay Area California Sleevers?

I'm just starting the process, anyone near Santa Cruz or Santa Clara? I will be going through Kaiser Santa Clara and would appreciate some local support.

I live in Monterey but am self-pay - so I've been shopping cost. I'm going to have mine done in Louisiana with Dr. Lavin.

How much was this Dr in Louisiana? I'm from there and would be tempted if it comes down to ins. Denying me....

Hello All ' date='

Bay Area girl new to this thread. I'm getting sleeved a week from today in San Fran! 9/25, with Dr. Jossart! Wish me luck :)[/quote']

How did you like Dr. Jossart?

Yes. It looks like he used to work w/Dr. Cirangle. I'm meeting him tomorrow and want to find out if he does the keyhole or Spider 1 incision in belly button procedure...He is Dir. At CPMC for minimally invasive surgery so hoping

Just got back from my appt with Dr. Fisher at Kaiser in Richmond. He seemed really nice and helped me to finalize my decision for the sleeve. He wants me to lose 8 more pounds and then I would be able to schedule surgery. Really happy with that news!! If all goes well I should have surgery before the year is out... Next appt. is with psychologist on 10/19. Hope everyone else is feeling as positive on their journey. I would love to talk to anyone in the area going through the same hospital.

thanx

Hi Missrose

I'm in almost the exact same position as you! Also going through Kaiser Richmond with Dr Fischer and have 8 lbs to lose :)

I had my visit with the psychologist last week.

Fingers crossed we can both get rid of these last 8 lbs and get our surgery dates scheduled

Jules

Hello Jules, so happy to know someone else going through Richmond. Ive kind of had a bad week :( . I hope to get back on track starting tomorrow. I would love to continue to follow each other. I go back and forth with the nerves but try to stay upbeat and just keep researching. Ive found some really great web sites that help too. So lets do this!

Hey Marcia!

I'd like that too. Been a rough week for me as well, but today's a new day and we'll get these 8lbs off!!!

We'll keep each other on track and do it together :)

Yes Dr. Morton is my doctor!

I can't believe what a hard week this has been. Visiting family in Central Valley. Car broke down so visit was extended and really threw me off my diet and exercise routine :( Tomorrow is a new day! Onward and back on track with a positive attitude! I HOPE
