Seems to me you guys are losing and really doing awesome, do you try to eat fruit and veggies or are they hard to digest with the band,it seems that some have no problems at all and others feel they need to avoid certain ones? I get the feeling that peelings Apple, grapes etc. can cause some issues.(not that I could'nt give them up...I certainly did'nt get fat on apples and grapes):rolleyes

Astro toes, I have noticed that everyone is different in this respect. Some pple say there is no way they can eat something, and then others say they are fine with it. eg. i can eat popcorn til the cows come home  and someone else said they had no problem with salad, but i certainly do! and chicken is a big nono for me, but it is a staple for others.

I said my day was bad  I was just bein' honest, and trying to show the quantity.. ignore the quality! I eat veggies, and fruit. Not alot, not as much as I should, BUT.... I never ate alot anyways. I can eat practically anything if I set my mind to it! LOL

Okay, here goes, lots of sun and cute, cute, cute spanish guys!!! It's a good thing I had my sunglasses on all the time cause I couldn't help but stare. You know, the guys they get to head the entertainment stuff on the resort. Totally built, 6 packs. the works. Okay so I was with my husband who was looking at the girls, hahaha. We had a great time.

The drinks were awesome, I think I tried every blended drink there was. The food was okay, not great. I loved the salsa, guac and nachos. I gainded 6lbs!!!! (I think that was mostly from the alcohol)

My favorite part of Mexico is shopping in the markets. I love buying that crap, even though I don't need it, it's fun to barter with the people.

I guess I missed a huge blizzard here, freezing temps and the whole bit. I'm glad it warmed up just in time!! Now its back to the grind, I return to work tomorrow. :scared:

Update: Okay, the gurgling comes and goes at night in bed but I don't seem to be having as much problem with the liquid coming up into my mouth while lying down.

Last night for dinner I was able to have 1/2 of a fish fillet (small one) and about 3 fries. I felt kind of "stuckish". About an hour after dinner I had some apple juice and after one sip I had to go and slime.....and then I coughed (luckily over the sink) and up in one fell swoop came some of my dinner. It was kinda neat....yet unexpected. I felt tons better after that happend. I think maybe there had been no where for my apple juice to go.

Anyways, the last few days I've been feeling nooooooooooooooooo energy (but I am still exercising) and been feeling sort of weak. I am attributing it to my lack of food intake right now and am trying hard to rectify it by eating the "right" things (ie. Protein enriched) and I NEED to work harder at drinking....I haven't been getting much Fluid into me because I can only take bitty sips here and there (similar to post-op time).

As an example, last night I had to go downstairs to the basement and by the time I came back up those stairs I was completely winded and out of breath (yet even at my heaviest I could do those stairs a zillion times a day and never have a problem!).

It's all a little scary and I know it is worrying Mr Yoda but I know it is just a phase I need to get through. Right? (need some reassurance here folks!!) LOL.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
