Me too!! June 29th with Dr Rodriguez =) I would love to hear some success stories as well!! Searched the forums and can't seem to find anyone who has been to StarMedica.. little scary LOL!

There is a section on here for self pay/Mexico surgery , you can try there or search for his name/hospital name with the search tool. Good luck you guys! I'm sure he's great! Be sure to put up your experiences for other peeps

I guess I'll have to wait till you get back to find out! I've ran across some youtube bloggers that have seen him and love him and the hospital so I feel great about it. I just can't find anyone on this forum!

I'm not familiar with him, but wanted to suggest that you also try a search for his name over on the obesity help website. Maybe someone there is familiar...

Dr. Rodriguez assisted on my surgery, he is a great guy and the Hospital Star Medica staff are incredible!

I had my revision surgery at Star Medica with Dr. Rodriguez in april. My experience was awesome.

The hospital was clean, modern and comfortable for me and my companion. Dr Calderon met us in the lobby and explained the process each step of the way. We saw him several times each day. I saw the anesthesiologist, I can't remember her name, and Dr Rodriguez everyday. They came to my room and chatted and answered my questions.

I do have to mention that many nurses spoken varying degrees of english. Some of the staff spoke none. However, I never really had any issues making myself understood or understanding them. Everyone was very nice and very caring through the whole process.

thanks for the reassurance! I ams

What date are you scheduled?
