Mimin: Somehow I missed what kind of surgery you're having. You will no longer be a pear? Are you getting a TT? If you are, I am so jealous! Let me know how you're doing (and what). I wish you the best. For some reason, I'm not getting all the emails from this thread. I just got a new computer. I don't know if that could affect it. I still get the same email. Anyway, I lost 1 pound this week. Getting frustrated but trying to stay patient. Going to talk to the doctor about another fill. We'll see.

Well, halle-freaking-luia, I finally lost some weight. I'm very restricted right now with 2.25 cc. Can only get about 2 oz of chicken down at a sitting so I'm eating a little bit more frequently. I'll start back with the Walking off the Pounds tape in the morning.

Went to a St. Patrick's party last night and got lots of compliments on looking good; very nice feeling.

Karey: I am getting breast augmentation this upcoming Friday. I do want a TT but I am going to wait until after my bandiversary. Things could change in another 6 months or atleast I can hope:) After being so heavy for so many years I'm not holding my breath!

We could start the challenge tomorrow -Weights posted could be end of St. Patty's challenge and swing right into the 4th of July challenge!

Anyone interested in keeping track this time around?

I'm in for the July 4th Challenge! Let's just hope I can actually make a dent in my weight this time! The St. Patrick's day challenge went practically unnoticed by me 'n my band. I am supposed to be getting another fill on Tuesday. I am going to freak if this doesn't help!!! I've had 5 fills already and still not losing well. Still hungry almost all the time. Still able to eat too much.

Starting weight 218 - 177current - 140goal

Surgery date: September 11, 2006

I'll weigh in the morning to set my July 4th start point.

Good luck everyone!~!

I'm in for the July challenge! I hope I can do better than the St. Patty's challenge. I had a small fill today (.2 cc). I hope this gets me to that sweet spot. My starting weight for the July 4th challenge is 189. I would love to be at 160 by July 4th! I'm going to work really hard to get there. Who's keeping track?

MimIn: I wish the best with your surgery. You'll be in my prayers. Let us know all about it. Very exciting!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
