hi guys im new on here & also am an august sleever. im excited but scared also. i sometimes wonder if i should really go through with the surgery but then read all the amazing stories on here and know im doing the right thing. Im in Australia so dont know pounds but have about 40 kg to lose. I cant wait to be able to walk into a normal dress shop & be able to try on a dress without looking for plus sizes or being embarrased. Hi to all the other August sleevers :)

I haven't bought any goal clothes cause I have a ton of clothes that I don't fit in to. So they are my mini goal clothes..lol once those don't fit me I'll buy more. I'm planning on buying some Unjury stuff like the broth everyone seems to love for my pre and post op diet.

Side note. Ausie lady on the post.. Are you the one going to almanza in mid August...my coordinator mentioned Australian ladies..just wondering if that was you ..if so I'll see you there so excited

Oh and fyi a easy way to convert kg to lbs multiply the kg by 2.2 and that's you're answer.

My nut strongly suggested the Centrum chewables. They have an orange flavor & Iron (which is typically hard to find).

I have tons of clothes that dont fit either but they're maybe 30-50 lbs of not fitting size large and xl's that are too tight.....I figure size 11 should be pretty close to where i want to stay. (maybe) i wont know til I get there I guess.

I got my list from the Doc of shakes I can use and how often. I made a mistake and ordered the smaller ones, so i have to buy a tub of the powder. I figured the RTD ones would be easier with my crazy hectic schedule so, I'll just use the powder when i'm home and the RTD while im busy. The Vitamins I got, were free lol. My boyfriend runs a Vitamin store . But I got the regular swallow pills instead of liquid of chewable. I hear the chewable calciums are good. and I usually have the gummy vitamins. Has anyone tried the liquid??

I also got gas x strips...and merderma. (for the scars...) a couple light cotton dresses for after surgery. I'll be staying in mytle beach in august so im probably not going to want to wear pants anyway, let alone right after surgery. I bought G2 gatorade for after but....i kinda drank it :) It was in my car and convient for work so......its pretty much gone.

I'm getting so excited watching my ticker go from 6 months, to almost 2 *i changed my date from september so there was a jump from 6 months to 4, ut im already down to 2. *

What are you guys most nervous about?

I am nervous about blood clots for some reason. I guess since they can cause death. I am a little nervous about the mood changes from hormonal changes as you lose fat. Otherwise I just want it to be here now. My doc said the Calcium should be calcium citrate and I can't find it in chewable so I bought a pill crusher. I am going to order the Protein Powder that is no flavor to add to every I drink and eat. It is a little pricey but people say worth it.

I found calcium citrate chewables at The Vitamin Shoppe.

Yea, thats what i have to get too. My Dr recommends the Unjury unflavored to add to the gatorade or whatever....it is VERY expensive though...but its worth it lol I'm so nervous about the endoscopy and the catheter. :( for some reason im not worried about the after part. just the before and during

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
