I get hungry and have since about 2 months. I get hungry about 2 hours after eating. It is a pretty weak hunger compared to what I used to have and a few bites still fills me up.

I'm doing great. Was meant to be on fluids only til Wednesday but couldn't stand it anymore. Ate puréed veggies for dinner last night. I've lost 9.8kgs so can't complain. Your loss looks great too. I've been wondering if those soup makers are any good . I have been living on soups through my Fluid stage. Keep up the good work!

Go girl! Your are losing heaps now!!! Awesome!

Just wondering do you ever get hungry at all?? I have to force my self to eat. Kinda strange.

So glad you are doing ok!

Dal :)

No I don't get hungry at all. I eat at regular intervals but only because I know I should.

I started getting the hunger feelings from about 6 months out. But as Misty said it is not nearly like it used to be

I weighed my self today,(weigh every wed.) it is my 2 week anniversary. I was pretty bummed as I only lost 1.3 kgs this week. Now I know it's better than a poke in the eye with a stick but considering it was a good week if I managed to eat 1/2 weetbix and 1/4 cup of soup I was kinda hoping for a bit more.. I am having a musashi HP shake for brekki and an opti for afternoon tea to keep up my protein.

Now I am dreading next week in case I gain.( I read all your posts about the dreaded 3 week gain) What was everyone else's average weekly loss?

I lost about 1 kg per week consistently week after week after week. No stalls! No massive losses! Just followed the instructions. I have never consistently lost this amount week after week on any other diet programme. Congratulations on this loss! It means you are on track and following the programme. Don't push too hard to eat too much too soon. This is massive surgery and your new sleeve will still be quite swollen for months yet.

Thanks Jenpez. Feel better now. :)

Nearly 2 years out I too get hungry and need to eat every 3 or 4 hours, but if I eat protein of low GI foods it helps.

Don't stress too much on weekly losses, it all adds up. Your body is just adjusting to the new regime. i had stalls from week 3 onwards every couple of weeks, but the weight will keep coming off if you following your instructions and make good food choices along the way. Relax and enjoy the ride down.

I probably lost about 1-1.5 kgs a week. I was pretty happy with that. Like Kelli said, it all ads up and as the weeks turn into months, you will start to see the results in your clothes and in the compliments you will receive. Enjoy that because it will make you feel great! I too was lucky and didn't have any stalls but after talking to lots of people on this thread, I have accepted that everyone is different and has different challenges so try and focus on your positives. You will soon start to see the changes and it will make you see your achievements so far. Good luck.

I lost anywhere from .5-1.5kgs a week. I didn't have any stalls till month 10-11. But everyone is different. Just do as ur told by ur nut and surgeon and u'll all be fine

Hi!

My surgery is the same day in Perth!

Congrats on your progress so far , that's excellent!

Wowzers!! 8 weeks! Well done. That is such an achievement and 21kgs so far. You must be so proud of yourself.

Good luck with your surgery! I am 3 weeks post op and it's the best thing I have done.
