Totally Struggling

I am struggling with staying on shakes for whole month. Need something spicy and warm. I am 12 days out from surgery, no nausea, no fever, walking good... just really not liking the chalky shakes (I have added fruit and whatever). I really haven't had any issues 3-4 oz down at a time, although it does feel like it gets stuck just under my bra line...like I really have to burp.

I can't do the protein drinks either. I am 3 weeks out and getting all my protein through food now. I eat cottage cheese, fish, tuna, eggs, cheese, and other soft proteins. I track my food on myfitnes

I bought some Unjury chicken soup protein but I haven't tried it yet. A lot of people recommended it and I figured it would be good for a change from the protein drinks. Something like that with some spices added might work and it is good for protein too.

My doc says shakes for 1 month...but I am drinking chicken broth, and really tempted by some of these posts to try some soup.

I ate the unjury chicken soup. I added a little hot sauce when I craved something spicy.

I did watered down blended soups. Also I could do drinkable yogurt starting day 5.
