  1. Yes...definitely better to get moving...get dressed, put makeup on...get out of the house...walk the mall if you have to. They usually have benches scattered around. It will definitely help everything heal better.
  2. Hey Willowsknot - I don;t know if it would help, buy I take Isotonix Multi and B-Complex. It is a powder you mix in 2oz of water and drink on empty stomach. I am 14 days out and other than some gall bladder issues popping up don't seem to have the fatigue or any hair loss so far. They seem to absorb much better than a pill. Have a pleasant citrus flavor.
  3. Seem to be having Gall Bladder issues....Anyone know how to stop an attack? Pain over breast bone that flares every 15 minutes...pain between shoulder blades...and lower back.....No sleep...Updated 01 May · 0 comments
  4. That is so awesome! I know how you feel about feeling like you are taking up less space. My mom looked at me the other day and said your nose is getting thin. I was like...i didn't know you could lose weight in your nose! Anyway congratulation!
  5. My doc says shakes for 1 month...but I am drinking chicken broth, and really tempted by some of these posts to try some soup.
  6. I went to a Thrift Store and got some basic pants and tops in various sizes to kind of tide me over. A lot cheaper than buying new clothes that I am going to shrink out of in a few months!
  7. When did you start to eat regular food??
  8. Thanks - I will swing by GNC...and try some soup later.
  9. I am struggling with staying on shakes for whole month. Need something spicy and warm. I am 12 days out from surgery, no nausea, no fever, walking good... just really not liking the chalky shakes (I have added fruit and whatever). I really haven't had any issues 3-4 oz down at a time, although it does feel like it gets stuck just under my bra line...like I really have to burp.
  10. My doc has me on 4 oz protein shakes 6x a day and lots of water
  11. Pain levels way down..worked today almost all day. Swallowing easier. Doing really good. Weight at start 245 - at surgery 222, now 215.
  12. It was 8 days before I went, and then I had to have some Milk of Mag (doctor approved). Everything is slow tho.
  13. I had my sleeve on April 16, and I still feel like there is a vapor lock when I swallow anything...like a big bubble blocking whatever I am swallowing. Anyone have any ideas?
