How Much Nausea Did You Have The First 2 Weeks?

My dr says it will be horrible nausea for 2 weeks. He is giving me the patch to put behind my ear. Surgery is Tuesday. What can I expect, nausea-wise?

I had surgery two weeks ago Tuesday and have not had any nausea at all.

I only had nausea the night of my surgery. I just started protein shakes (10 days post-op) yesterday and getting those down has made me VERY nauseous.

I had surgery four days ago. I was very nauseous from the moment I woke up. I couldn't even turn my head without having to grip the bucket. It eased off maybe three hours later. Since then it has come and gone but nowhere near as bad as what I experienced right after the surgery. My times for being most nauseous seem to be the early hours of the morning for some reason; also, if I have too much of my shake at a time.

I had fairly severe nausea in recovery, coming out of surgery. The doctor had to order them to double up on my nausea meds.

After I got to my room, I felt fine. On Day 2 I had a rush of nausea that lasted under a minute then went away. I have had no more incidents yet and am five days out.

I have a very weak stomach and so this was a concern for me. Glad it turned into a non problem.
