Anyone Using Sugar Free Coffee Creamer?

I am 15 days post-op and my surgeon gave me the okay to start coffee today. He said no milk or sugar in it. I used the sugar free french vanilla creamer (coffee mate / non dairy) today and I didn't have any problems. However, I did notice in the handout he gave me, it does say that I am NOT supposed to use any creamer ( non-dairy or not). I don't understand why and it doesn't give an explanation. Anyone else using this? Thanks!!

Hello from on coffee to another . I too was concern and i ask my surgeon abt drinking coffee and he said as long as its decaf and watch sugars on creamer, so i have NESLTE Coffeemate lowfat original flavor and it has 1gram sugar per table spoon, and it still needs half pack equal! hope this helps!

I've been using the sugar free french vanilla by international delight since about 4 weeks post op. I'm nearly 7 mos post op - no problems staying low carb- I use it nearly every day- several times a day- liberally even.
