Yes, those were 2 of my favorite go-to meals once I got to purees - I used 2% shredded cheese with my scrambled eggs, and I would put the same shredded cheese, sour cream and taco bell mild sauce on my refried beans.

My dietician says no refried beans because they're starch until the 6 month mark. Boo! I love refried beans!

My NUT recommend retried Beans, along with my surgeon as a sleeve friendly mushy...I don't eat beans...but when I got desperate, they tasted mighty fine! I was worried about the starch, but in a calorie deficit...does it really matter? I <3 refried beans now! Lol!

refried beans were my first mushy and they were sooooooooooooooo good!! :) I can't imagine not being allowed refried beans! Half a cup is about 8g of protein. Not bad, IMO.

My NUT actualky suggested them. they were super yummy. I didnt make my protein goal today tho :( but I ordered the unjury so hopefully I will fix my downfall. I have finished my day with 49 g protein. I swear im trying.
