For Those Who Aren't Shy--Tell Me About Boobs

Recommended Posts

Do your boobs shrink in comparrison with everywhere else on your body? I'm a large chested woman...DDD cup. Will that shrink as i lose weight or will I forever be cursed with monster boobs? I'd love to hear from people who lost. Tell me if your boobs stayed the same, or shrank accordingly.

I'm completely worried about this too! My dr says expect to lose 3/4 of what I have! YIKES!!!!

My bf had pretty big boobs now.... Well long flat pancakes is hOw she describes them.:( she's now wearing VS Water bras:(

My dr's office has a plastic surgeon and a visit with him for a breast lift and timmy tuck was part of my consultation.

I can't imagine going through surgery again (even after a years wait) after all the pain I had from this one, but in a years time as my body changes I might change my mind as I know I'll miss my boobs!:(

I'd love to see the feedback u get from people a year or more out.

Good luck to you.

I'm actually happy at the prospect of losing some of my boob size! I've always been big and it has caused a lot of problems for me! I don't love the fact that they will probably end up long and saggy. I so want to wear those cute sundresses or tank tops with built in bras! I refuse to have plastic surgery after this. everyone says the plastic surgery is worse than the sleeve procedure. I am only 6 days out from my sleeve and still uncomfortable. I'm sure I'll NEVER consider another surgery! LOL

It completely depends. I know that's not much help, but it's true.

I'm not sleeved yet, but I've had WLS. With mine I lost in the neighborhood fo 200 lbs. My cup size actually went up as my circumference went down. I do not have big boobs, but I started around a 44B and ended up a 38C.

On the flip size, my mother also had WLS (not VSG) and pre-op was a 42DD. Had been since she was 16. Now she just wears sports bras most of the time. Her boobs look like empty, wet paper bags.

By the way cab0ad, I noticed you're in KC. Who is doing your sleeve?

I think it goes to past experience. My first 20 lbs ALWAYS comes out of my boobs. :( I always return to my smaller bra sizes. (Well- c cups) Everyone is different though. If you came out of puberty with huge boobs, then they may stick around. Just keep em hoisted up so you don't bruise them with your knees. HAHAHAHA just kidding....a little humor..... ;) (you may not be old enough to worry about that.

funny dooter! LOL. I remember having c cup sized boobs in 6th grade! Of course, I was largely overweight at that time already so i don't know if it was my weight or my actual boob size. Gosh, I'd LOVE to lose 2 or 3 cup sizes!

I suppose it depends on your age, but I am 58; and my boobs were a 40 D and now they are a 36C. They look great in a bra and I love wearing beautiful sexy bras now; and I can show a little cleavage and wear cute dresses (I even wore a strapless dress (which you can see on my about me page on my blog link below). But the honest truth is, without a bra they're pointing south! Still, clothes fit SO much better and I am so happy to not have huge fleshy boobs any more. I'm not sure they'll ever be firm but I'm doing my strength training exercises every day in hopes that will help.

I'd just sent you a PM. My sleeve surgery is next week with Dr. Hoehn. He also did my lap-band in 2006, and removal last year (and gallbladder in 2007). I'm always curious to see who people in my area are using.

crop queen, mine have pointed south since I was a teenager! LOL! I don't know what it would actually be like to have them point in any other direction!

they deflate like balloons :'( I have lost only a portion of my weight and I can already tell the difference. They are nowhere near as full.

I was a 40G prior to surgery and now I am a 36G. I am only 5 pounds from my goal, so I'm guessing they are here to stay. Not to mention they must have been the only thing on my old body that wasn't FAT!

Oh well...I have always like mine. I was hoping not to lose too much.

Well I am one of those people who has always had large boobs... as a child I actually went straight into a B cup at my first bra fitting... I eventually grew into a DDD cup. I have lost some, but I still fill out a DD. My current bra (after 100 lbs) is a 36 DD (though my band size is getting loose, I know I need to go down to a 34). However, I have lost lift :( Which kinda sucks. I have a feeling that down the road I'll want a lift, but I don't think i'll ever need implants. I think it truly depends on the person.

I will say though, that it is soooo worth it! I would much rather have flabby boobs and a more normal body then be overweight with big boobs.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
