Had to call 911 to save my own life.

Nurses hid the buzzer & the controls on both sides of the bed did not work.

I was in a lot of pain & could not call for help.

I was bleeding internally.

Could not scream. Could not bang on anything. Could not get out of bed.

I laid there for only God knows how long before I saw the telephone w/the long cord.

I could not reach the phone. Somehow I managed to squeeze thru the bars on the bed

and grab the phone cord with my two fingers. (Thank God for Tall Man & Pointer)

Then I had to rest.

I fished the cord up then could not think of phone numbers because of cells phones.

All we do is press Linda, Mom, etc.

I did not even know how to get an outside line so I dialed "0".

I gave them my name & said I need help now and I don't know what room or floor I am on

but I am in their hospital and need help now.

They said OK, we will send someone.

Nobody came.

I kept suffering.

I called "0" again. This time there was no answer.

I could not tolerate the pain anymore. I was fighting for my life.

Then I called 911 and told them who I was and where I was.

911 Called the hospital and sent security to my room.

Once I saw the policeman, I fainted.

IT'S TRUE. PEOPLE DO HOLD ON UNTIL THEY SEE THE ONE THEY WANT THEN THEY GIVE UP.

I filed a suit against the Dr and the Hospital and the Medical Review Panel said they did nothing wrong. In Louisiana, a Dr. can cut off your wrong leg & the max that you can sue for is $100k.

They lied. The Lawyer & Doctors on the Panel "Threw me under the bus & watched each other roll over on me."

I agree with Pookeyism! Get proof of your 911 call and get a lawyer! A medical review board of doctors are likely going to be skeptical. They are not really objective.

Kim, don't give up. Don't act like this is a failure. Go back to the protein shakes and gradually back on to solid foods again. Meanwhile, get to another bariatric surgeon. You still have your tool, your sleeve - use it!

I am not saying your lying, but you said you paid for it, but its your right to have a copy of your records. Also, you kept saying you didn't know what happened but you have the records?? How you are putting things is really confusing..thats all I am sayin.

I still do not know what happened to me or why.

They said I was bleeding internally.

They said I was out of it for 3 days.

I remember oxygen masks being forced onto my mouth & nose while I was fighting them.

I got the med records fm the hospital.

I paid $350 for the records.

Got the records to a number of Lawyers.

One Lawyer by the name of BYRON CASEY, was kind enough to explain what to do & how to do it. He helped me file everything.

Then his friend, set up the panel & together they "Threw me under the bus & watched each of them roll over on me."

"Oh I had a little bleeding & the Dr. Fixed it."

They said, No records of the 911 calls in the medical records.

I AM NOW ON THIS SITE BECAUSE THE DOCTORS & LAWYERS LIED ABOUT

WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.

THERE IS NO HONOR LEFT IN MANKIND.

The moderators of this forum cannot ensure your safetly, and do not "confirm" who people are. I could be an ex-felon and I think I could have got alot of info out of you very easy. NOT picking on you. I say it out of concern.

What kind of medication were you on? I don't mean to be rude, but if you did have a serious situation, it may be that you were also having a response to the medication. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks once with a horrible knee accident. I ccame home and thought I had been off work for about 3 days...that was when we learned morphine is not my friend!

There are some contradictions that people following your story are finding confusing, I think.

The inability to make noise but you had a phone to bang up agianst the bars - but if you were out of it enough and panicking, understood.

The doctors did not hear from you for three days, but you were in ICU?

Perhaps you could give us a timeline.

I am just trying to tell my story.

When people don't believe you & think that you are lying, it hurts.

it's like being raped & they say your story if fishy. Grrrrrr

Life is hard enough. i have no reason to lie.

I am laying it all out there.

If I was lying... these Doctors & the hospital have it in writing.

They have more money than I do & they could sue me for everything I own.

I am not that stupid to lie then post my lies on line.

Kim, now I am the one to be extremely upset - how dare yo uattempt to use free legal resources if you are going on cruises every other month? Teh system is not to leech off of. those services are for people who need them. It is not an entitlement.

I want to answer all of your questions.

I do not take any Rx at all.

I use to take Rx for depression but that made me sleep more.

i do not use illegal drugs.

I use to smoke pot when i was young.

I do not drink. Not even sip champagne.

I was too weak to scream & could hardly talk.

I tried to hit the hospital table with the phone but was too weak.

It did not make enough noise fm my room to the nurse's station.

Believe me when i tell you I was in so much pain I wanted to die.

It felt like cars were rolling on my stomach...non stop.

no break in the pain what so ever.

It was 911 that called the hospital & had Hospital Security get Nurses to my room.

When i saw the uniform I pointed at him... then I fainted.

The next thing I remember is being rolled down the halls of a hospital fast as possible with the IV bottles swinging. (Just like in the movies) I asked the Nurse where she was taking me. She said, honey, you are going to ICU. I asked why. She said because you are bleeding internally.

next thing I remember is waking up in another room with my sister by my side.
