Husband and wife team will become " sleevers" next week on Feb. 1, 2012. Wondering if there are others in the area that have already had surgery or are newbies too. Counting down the days on pre-op liquid diet.

I'm planning to come. Also going to invite a friend of mine who was sleeved over a year ago and her cousin who has been talking about getting the lap band. We're trying to get her informed about the sleeve before she commits to the band.

Hey everybody! I am from Topeka! I got my surgery done here in Topeka with Dr. Dunshee with Tallgrass. My surgery was 5-22-13 I am down 55.6 lbs. doing great. Feeling great. Just wanted to say hi!

You are one tough lady!! I so enjoyed the meeting today, so good to see and meet everyone. We will be shooting for the 3rd Saturday in October to meet again. Not sure about the rest of you, but I thought it was extremely noisy today. Wondering if we should try to find another meeting spot. Let me know what you all think!

I'm in Richmond MO but I'll come into Kansas City. My surgery is coming up October 5th in Tijuana with Dr Illan so I'd live to come along to an October meeting.

Madison, Angie and I all live in Pleasant Hill and Kathy lives in Blue Springs. Sorry that I did not get an email out to everyone this week, we have been working like crazy to get our house ready to list for sale. Almost ready, so am email should be out to everyone very soon!
