Turkey Chili.

Super easy to make.

I portion out for my lunches.

1 pound ground turkey

1 onion, chopped

2 cups Water

1 Adobo chilie with 1 TSP sauce from can

1 (28 ounce) can canned crushed tomatoes

1 (16 ounce) can canned kidney Beans - drained, rinsed, and mashed

1 tablespoon garlic, minced

2 tablespoons chili powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Top with a sprinkle of low fat cheese.

I made this two days ago for the first time. I found that the beans have a lot more carbohydrates than I thought they did. It was yummy though. I have to find a recipe with more turkey and less beans.
