I'm in! My surgery is 9/24; I'm 5'2" and I have over 100 to lose; Great idea since 10lbs to a short person is vastly different compared to a tall person!

Technically I'm 5'2" 3/4. Depending on who's measuring I get labeled wither 5'2" or 5'3". (I also think it depends on how high my hair is sitting that day :D :P ;-) Doing well but I was super obese so I still have a ways to go.

Don't get discouraged. Measure your waist. You may find that you are losing inches.

Thanks! I've yet to get a measuring tape so I'll get that. Woo it is tough. Going to run by the river every weekend and see if that helps. The struggle is realllll

I did a 4 mile walk sit jog today. Felt good. But staying away from the scale for a while. Good luck! Let me know how it goes

My 52 pounds includes my two week pre-op diet which I started May 26th. At the one month mark I started adding In different Proteins. I have added different foods each week. Sometimes I am ready for them and sometimes not. My body lets me know. The key for me has been logging my food. Knowing how much I am getting in Protein, carbs, fats. Now each day I get my Proteins, dairy, two veggies, two fruits. I haven't found room yet for grains, but that will come.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
