Did anyone go to surgery alone.
i was tired and sore of course but I made it thru the work week fine. I had to get my kids and sit at soccer practice each night so when I got home I went straight to bed every night. You can do it. It's Saturday and I could have slept late but in wide awake at 6 am!

Did anyone go to surgery alone.
I survived alone, frankly they all came up there but I was so out of it I didn't know. The pain was crazy and I was throwing up a lot. Been home two days and the vomiting has stopped and I'm working on getting my liquids in. This was much more than I expected. I have to go back to work on Monday wish me luck

December 8th Sleevers......
My surgery is at 11 and I need to be there 815.... This whole journey I have had it in my head this wouldn't happen... Looks like it is and it's a huge reality check. I didn't sleep and my anxiety is thru the roof. But in a good way.

Tomorrow is my day
I'm sure I'll be on here tomorrow before surgery.. Liquid diet for two days sucks... My head is pounding.

Did anyone go to surgery alone.
I hate to ask people for anything... My boyfriend will drop me off and come back when I'm in recovery I'm sure I'll be fine. I did tell my son I would be there alone if he wanted to come. He also has to pick up his 7 year old sister from school and his 16 year old brother from soccer practice and get them home and make dinner. So I'm not exactly depriving him of helping.... Making sure the two of them are taken care of is more important to me than being at the hospital alone... It's just nerve racking I guess. I'll keep my phone and be in touch with everyone up Untill they take it away. I'm hoping by the time I'm in my room the Bf will be off work. Thanks for all the advice... I hope it goes as well as I have it planned tomorrow is the big day!

Did anyone go to surgery alone.
I haven't told anyone other than my boyfriend and kids. He just got a new job and doesn't have time off from work, my oldest is 20 I could have him go with me but I feel like meh... I'd really rather my Bf go and he can't so alone it is. I really think I will be fine alone but I'm looking for advice from anyone who has went alone.

December 2015 or January 2016 sleevers ?
I called my insurance at 12:30 to ask if they had received the packet and they said they did have it, and at 1:30 my surgical coordinator emailed me to say that my surgery was approved. I'm guessing that once they had to look at it because I called they just went ahead and approved it. Doesn't hurt to call them and give a little shove! That's what I think too... I have called everyday still pending waiting for review by a nurse. How frustrating for me since everyone has said Aetna is so quick... Looks like not quick for me. I'm hoping they approve today and I can still have my surgery on the 9th.

Looking for someone to connect with after surgery
I'm 5'1 240 ... Just found out today Aetna hadn't approved surgery ???? So I may not get the 9th looks like it might be 16th now, if and when it's approved. When I talked to them today they just said its still pending.. Boo hoo I am so ready I hope they get it together and approve tomorrow.

Looking for someone to connect with after surgery
I am not telling anyone at work either. Primarily because I don't want to be asked 50 times a day how much have you lost. I don't want to hear all the negative crap ect... I'm sure there will be speculation but o well!
