  11. @@4MRB4PHOTO, that's priceless. Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App
  12. @@jane13, yes last june! I feel so much better, but lately I've stalled. I'm about 18 lbs away from my goal! But my brain doesn't see it. Maybe cause everything sags so much. I've also started craving things, not real hunger, so I googled what cravings meant and found charts with for example bread/pasta meant u needed more protein and legumes, one said green leafy s too. Anyway thought it'd be worth a try! and yes, this last year was NOT easy but worth it. I have no regrets either!
  13. @@crazyplantlady, that's what I've done in the past too with my coffee, I've just started adding unflavored protein powder from genpro. It really doesn't have a taste, and next I'm going to try unjury unflavored and chocolate. I love the unflavored cause I can add it to my soup bowl. The only thing is with unjury the temp of drinks has to be under 140 degrees. If higher it degenerates the protein. Hope this helps!
  14. @@heidiboo, praying... I was scared as well. @@jane13, I could use a buddy too, was sleeved 6/12.
  15. The scales hasn't really moved. But I just tried on a size 10 jeans! I fit!!!! That's always been a goal I wanted to reach. I've never been a size 10 even as a teenager. Always a 12 and up. I asked my mom how they liked and she said, I think they're a little loose! So tried on a misses 11, and it fit too!!! Was a little snug, but not tight!! I can't believe it! Size 8 here I come!!!
  16. @@ladytrucker1961, AMAZING you my dear are an inspiration to me!!!! I'm not quite to my one year anniversary, and still worry about gaining back what I've lost. You go girl!!!
  17. @@amynova I had this too early on and was told to watch the temperature of my drinks, tepid or warm works best for me. After I figured that out I didn't have any more spams. I'm 9 months out now and cooler drinks now are ok, but I still make sure they're not super cold. Maybe try that!
  18. I'm in! Current weight 153lbs goal 145.
  19. Follow recommendations of your dr....and don't compare your results with others...this is your journey, you will succeed! If you have trouble with nausea, take something for it, dont compromise your health by skipping vitamins or protein d/t nausea. Start exercising when u can. Chew, chew your food and sip your drinks! (Sometimes tepid or warm goes down easier than cold or hot) focus your first few weeks on healing...and walk, it's the best way to get rid of the gas! (Also gas X strips). Best of luck!!!
  20. When you hand your ID to someone and they ask for a second one because it doesn't look like you anymore!. ...crossing my legs, Becoming "skinnier", than my in laws who always said, "just diet!" Like it's so easy
  21. @kmorri...yep, your right!
  22. Hey guys, for course thin hair make sure your getting your thyroid levels checked. Just to be safe! (In an RN)
  23. Hey! I'm from Joplin, mo area.... but now live in San Diego area... was sleeved June 2015, good luck guys, have fun! It's a journey I wish I would've stayed YEARS ago. btw HW 245+ CW 155... working on listing 20 more!!! You too will be at your goal before u know it!
  24. Honey your gorgeous! Look again, like your looking at a dear friend...which u should be to yourself...but all I see is a gorgeous woman standing there. Our faces are changing, I have experienced some anxiety over how my face is changing, cause I was one of those fast girls who everybody said "you have such a pretty face" ands now my face is more angular and sharp, with all these fine wrinkles popping out. But it's an adjustment, wait until the skin tightens more, use makeup to help with what u see that the rest of us don't....and do chat with a councilor...cause I'm serious you're gorgeous.
  25. That is awesome Dub! Its the little things isn't it, that keep u going.
