Going To Mexico For My ...again! Lap Band To Gastric Sleeve Surgery

I am working this week to schedule my sleeve surgery with Dr. Garcia for January 30th. Back in 2006 I went to Mexico for a lapband with Dr. Joya. Mexico was great and I enjoyed the experience until my band eroded into my stomach. I've since had it removed and I am healed and cleared for the sleeve.

Has anyone ever had this experience and are going to or had the sleeve? I'm totally excited to go back to Mexico. I've never been to a hospital where you ring the call bell and hear people run down the hall. coolgleamA.gif

I am not offended at all. lol. When I am comfortable enough to post a picture I will. Eventually I will get rid of the clown and change it to something more friendly.

i've heard good things about dr. garcia.... theres another thread on here that has a good review about him.

i agree, it was very cool to have the nurses come lickety split when i rang the little buzzer. And they were all so nice. :)
