Im New On Vst- I Had Gastric Sleeve Surgery On May 27th,2011

I had Gastic Sleeve on May 27th, 2011 with Dr. Rodriguz, in Mexico. I live in Florida. I have lost 140lbs since my sergery date. I feel as if im slowing down on losing weight, i work out 4 days a week and i dont really drink the protien shakes, does anyone know any protein shakes that taste good? Ive very picky. But i found protein pills i take as a supplment. I need advice on different types of food that people are eating? I hate Veggies and im not sure what i should do they wont stay down... if any one has any advice please let me know. Thanks

Zuly

I like the Premium chocolate protein drinks from costco. They have 30 gms of protein. Also have a protein powder by NuTek that also has 32 gms protein. When I mix it, (vanilla) tastes really good. Sometimes I put some frozen mixed fruit and it's a smoothie....yayyyyyyy. Congrats on your 140 lb weight loss! that's awesome.. ;)

I like the premade Muscle Milk banana cream flavor.. tastes like a banana laffy taffy candy. its pretty good and the only one I can drink. I dont like bananas either! lol.

Have you tried logging your foods and getting all your protein from foods? My surgeon's manual says that from the 2nd though 6th month "patients should gradually increase their consumption of protein from food.....and decrease supplemental protein shakes and powders". Many of us here use myfitnesspal.com to log our foods. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
