Pre Gastric Sleeve Surgery Diet Struggles

My surgery is tomorrow (!) and I'm having trouble with the clear liquids. I only have to do it two days pre-op, but it's hard. I will be on clears for two weeks after and I'm really hoping it's not going to be this hard. Any tips/words of encouragement?

You will be fine. It does not have to be clear liquids. You can have things like protein shakes, apple sauce, mashed potatoes. I also had mashed peas and other mashed foods. The doctor will or should give you a list of things. Even in hospital the diet was water, tea, apple sauce.
