Today was my one week post op visit with my Dr. They weighed me and it showed that I have lost 20 pounds. He told me that i could go on a full liquid diet this weekend. I am really tired of the whole liquid diet. I am not craving anything, but just want something different. I only have a small pain near one of my incisions, but I mainly have discomfort. I can't sleep in the bed with my husband because the bed is uncomfortable. I am sleeping on the couch. Hopefully that will change soon. I want things to go back to normal soon. I know it will take time, but I want to resume normal activities.

good luck to you & congrats on 20lbs!!! thats amazing!

Hi! Another Tennessee sleever here :-)

I had surgery on October 4th, so I'm about 10 1/2 weeks out. Pre- and post-op combined I'm down 56 pounds. Woohoo!

My surgeon is Dr Spaw, and I couldn't have been happier with my surgery experience.

Hi guys! My surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday 12/21 with Dr. Olsen in Nashville :)

First, congrats to all who have made it to the other side! Second, hey all you Tennessee sleevers! I'll be moving to the other side tomorrow!

Hey, that's awesome. I had mine with Dr. Houston, who is in the same office as Dr. Olson. They are a great group. Good luck to you and maybe we will run into each other at some point.

Thank you so much! I am familiar with Dr. Houston, he was my surgeon at the beginning of this journey before I switched over to Dr. Olsen. Hopefully we will run in to each other at one of the support groups :)

Hey everyone, I am close to four weeks post op and have started my stage 3 diet of soft foods. It's going pretty well so far. I have lost 22 pounds and am quite happy. I could only eat one egg and nothing else this morning. I had some chicken with cheese and sour cream for lunch. I am not all that hungry. I guess that's the point.
