I have someone wanting to learn about the sleeve in the San Diego area and would love to direct them to someone awesome. I went to a seminar about the three surgeries before I did mine and would love to direct them to something similar! WOuld appreciate any recommendations in that area- including La Jolla, etc.

Actually I will re-phrase that. I would first search for surgeons of excellence and THEN ask others their opinion about them.

I don't know if it is too far for you but UC Irvine in the city of Orange has a seminar every 3rd Tuesday of the month. Great program and a great team.

Pacific Bariatric is in San Diego. They did my surgery and I am a very satisfied customer. They do seminars monthly.

I am using Pacific Bariatric in San Diego. There have seminars in many areas. Try the web site- www.pacificbariatric.com for places and times. They are a Bariatric Center of Excellence- a designation for surgery programs that have a strong and consistant record in positive surgery outcomes. They perform surgeries at Scripps-Mercy hospital in San Diego. They are also contracted with different insurance plans, including Kaiser.
