I have coventry and it's covering 100%... was very easy to get the acceptance letter. My doctor just had to send them a notice indicating the surgery is medically necessary. Two of my coworkers got the band, and it was covered also. I'm sure it depends on which coventry plan you have.

My best suggestion (besides simply calling Coventry) is to make your initial appointment w/ a bariatric clinic (many offer consultation free), have them evalutate your situation and have them submit it to your insurance!
