Hi

I am 12 days post op and my first 8 days were great!! No problems. For the last 4 days now I have been having cramping at night as well as cramping any time I drink or eat anything. I also have not had a BM in 4 days to speak of either. I dont know if this is what is causing the cramping but I am not getting all my fluids in because if it. I am not dehidrated as I am forcing enough in to keep hydrated but somthing has to give soon!!!! HELP!! Is this normal and what can I do to help ease it?

I had cramping above belly button on left side nearedt my biggest incision at about three weeks. Really scared me so I called the doctors office. They told me it was normal because of the muscles they cut and possibly a nerve giving me problems. I think you should call your doc just to put your mind at ease.

Thanks for the info!! It has actualy eased up for the last few days!!
