Hey! You are my height and we lost about the same weight the first month! Its great to find someone who is really inline with my stats! Congrats on the weight loss! Tammi

I am 8 months and 1 week out, started at 241 and now weigh 148. 5'10 and 44 years old. At one month out I had lost 33 pounds. It's an amazing journey!

5'10, was 292 at surgery, (highest was 335 several years ago,) down 32 after one month, down 72 now at four months and about 30 more to go to meet my body comp goals (15% fat mass).

Oh, forgot to put my height! I'm 5'4".

starting weight: 280

weight lost during 3.5 week pre-op diet: 25 lbs.

weight on day of surgery: 255

1st two weeks post-op I lost: 10 lbs.

Then I stalled for almost 4 weeks.

When I started losing again, I lost another 15 lbs. in 1.5 weeks.

Then I stalled again for 2-3 weeks.

Then I dropped 5 lbs.

That was back around 8/26. I know I'm losing inches because my clothes are fitting different but the scale doesn't like me at all. I'm not horribly upset about it because my 3 month goal was 35% of my excess weight which would have been 52.5 lbs. I still have about 2 weeks before I hit 3 months and I've already lost 55 lbs.

Tiff, I've printed out what you said you're doing and I'm going to try to do that. I had been writing everything down but then stopped about a month or so ago. I'm very careful about what goes into my mouth but I couldn't say exactly how much Protein, carbs, and calories I'm taking in and I feel extremely guilty for that. I'm afraid that a lot of days, I'm barely getting 600 calories because I'm just hardly ever hungry. My body probably thinks I'm starving. :(

highest weight 260

surgery weight 248

one month out 230

goal weight 150-170

I am 5'8!

I'm 6'2". Highest recorded weight at doctor's office was 337 (OUCH), summer of 2010. Weight the morning of surgery was 306 (still ouch). Surgery April 18, 2011.

Lost 29 pounds the first month; obviously a lot of that was Fluid.

No actual "stall," although around week 5 I began losing in stair-step fashion instead of every day. This is still going on, so I guess it's just the way my body loses. I lose a pound a day for 3 to 4 days, then stay the same for 3 days, then start losing again. I have never had a gain of more than a few ounces, and that is always gone the next day (I think it's due to salt and fluid retention!).

Current weight is 226 this morning (YAY!).

Goal weight is 190, although I suspect I'm going to end up well below that. When I hit 194, I'll be within "normal" weight for my height, according to the BMI charts.

My original goal was to be in size 16 clothing (remember, I'm 6'2" and started in a tight 26/28); I'm already there--anything after this is just icing on the sleeve cake. :D

I'm 5'4" and weighed 221.75 lbs on the day of surgery. The first month I lost 21.5 lbs. Now I'm just on the border of Onederland, and I want to cross!!!!
