About to talk to my boss....

SUPER nerveous... To go in and tell her I need time off!!! Not saying what the procedure is.. Just saying it's personal and that's going be the hard part!! I know she is going push to want to kno what it is! BUT I just came from the doctor y-day and she up my high blood pressure med. For the THIRD time! I know I'm making the right choice! I'm TOO young for this :-( ready for a change!! Please send me courage!!!

My boss is the only other person who knows other than my bestie (my right hand).

I didn't even tell my family.

While he shuns the whole weight lost surgery idea (ex-Navy SEAL), he is very, very supportive of my decision to take control of my health issues have the surgery. He has even given me permission to incorporate 45 minutes of activity/exercise (we have a gym at work) into my workday...and believe me, he holds me accountable to getting my 45 minutes in at least 4 days a week.

I have a million leave hours banked away since I never take off...so everyone just thinks I am taking a much need vacation for 3 weeks.:P

sounds like he is a good boss!!
