  1. Hello I suffer from HS also... I suggest going to dermatologist as this is a skin disorder.. About 3 years ago I lost about 60lbs and I still had flare ups.. It's might just depend on each person.. With my sleeve surgery so far I lost 70 and still continue to have flare ups.. My dermatologist injects steroids into my armpits and that reduces the tenderness and temporary makes them go away.. In my experience sweating and shaving aggravates it.. Any more info you guys have I would love to learn!!! Also Dial antibacterial soap is good!
  2. Same thing happen to me right after surgery... Water made me more gasses and cause stomach pains... I had to drink G2 and diltuted juices.. About a month and a half out I was able to drink water again...
  3. Every three months... An once a year after I hit my 1year...
  4. This early out just concentrate on staying hydrated ( water, sugar free juice, etc.) you don't want to get dehydrated... Do what you can don't force yourself!! Good luck and congrats
  5. I'm sorry this has happen!!! The sleeve has had some ppl stop or lower blood pressure meds. One of the reason I got the sleeve.. I'm only 5 weeks out and on my same amt. of meds pre-op-hopefully this will change. Try monitoring your salt intake. Sorry wish I had more info for you..
  6. So I'm 16 days post-op!!! And from day 1 every time I try to drink plain water I get gassy and my stomach bubbles.. Anyone else have this problem? It's kinda frustrating cause I LOVED water pre-op and it's such a thirst quencher.. Hopefully when I'm further out I can enjoy a nice cold bottle of water again!! Until then G2 and crystal light!
  7. Thanks Rootman an Kelly.... I'm just going keep sipping as much as I can... I have been to the bathroom so I guess I'm getting a descent amount in... I so appreciate the advice..

  19. So I'm on my 2nd day of my 2 week diet, which includes SF jello and SF ice pops and 3 disgusting Bariatric Advantage meal replacement protein drinks(only protein drinks my doctor allowed)...I'm excited because I'm that much closer to my surgery date BUT on the other hand I'm sooooo hungry... Y-day on day one I cheated and had one cup of lettuce and a sprinke of dressing... I was wondering is this ok to do? I can not imagine going on for 12 days like this. I know how important this is but I'm super hungry and tired!!
  20. Just becaus it's "elective" does not mean you can't qualify. The surgery is usually deemed medically needed from your doctor. I would double check with HR I have heard tons of ppl use FMLA I'm applying also even tho I will prolly will not need it.
  21. @ Soon2B- yes I feel so much better- my friend joke and said I proly feel 100lbs lighter I won't need the surgery! Lol I love your explanation.. So much easier then explaning! @Deakay- I love your openness... I will prolly disclose once I'm back-just do not want to hear any negative words before, NOW after they can kiss my butt lol.. Somewhere on here a person suggested when someone ask you how u lost weight say " oh I had the baby!" lmao I thought that was so funny! Think imma going use that!
  22. I DID IT I DID IT!!! My boss was really really understanding she said I can take more time if need be.. When I come back and I do not feel ok I can go home early! She didnt push or ask questions just very concerned. She also told me I do not have to worry about my job it would be there for me! Thanks everyone for your kind words and encouragement.. :-)))
