I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....said the "Not so" little Momma that COULD!
Today is day 5 of my pre-op diet and I cannot believe I have made it this far. Day 1 and 2 were extremely hard! To my surprise things have gotten easier!!
The most difficult thing for me is preparing meals for my children. It would be so much easier if I did not have to come into contact with food.
The second most difficult thing for me is keeping busy. I am a teacher and I have off during the summer. I think it would be so much easier if I had to work. I feel like most of my days revolves around making Breakfast, lunch and dinner and then cleaning up after the meals. Can I say "TORTURE!"
My husband works shift work and works between 12-16 hours a day and today is his first day off since I started the pre-op. I am looking forward to having him make the meals today and tomorrow while he is off of work.
Today and tomorrow I have family parties and of course parties revolve around food. I know it won't be easy but I refuse to give up now! I am extremely proud of myself that I have made it this far and there ain't no stopping me now!
9 days to go til the big day!! WOOT, WOOT!
