I thought it was time to introduce myself. But, first want to thank everyone for answering my questions and providing much needed info for helping me make my decision to have surgery. I am 42 years old. Like many on here have tried every diet known to mankind. I have lost and gained so many times that I had lost count. At first I looked into the lapband. But didnt like the mirid of problems people had. So thats when I heard about the sleeve. I live in BC Canada. Here there is a very long wait for the surgery so I decided to have the surgery in the State of Washington USA. My doctor is Dr.Landerholm at the Pudget Sound Surgical Centre. I have three children a little lovely girl 3 and two boys 15 and 13. My husand is the only person that knows and he is really supportive. I just think for me it is a personal decision. I look forward to reading you stories and chatting along the way. I have so much gratitude to the people that post here especially the regulars who seem to be constantly paying it foward and helping others. Its funny how it always finds a way of coming back to you! Welcome, welcome! I am also in the Seattle area, but was born and raised in BC So excited you have a date! We'll be cheering you on! I also am not telling many about my decision, either, also a personal choice...and people are so darn judgmental!! Can't wait to hear about your journey....hope you keep us updated.
