First post- just wanted to see if there was anyone out there from the Bay Area getting the surgery...researching surgeons. Met with Dr. Crystine Lee today...anyone heard of her?

I had my surgery with Dr. Cirangle, and I'll agree with those who say that his bedside manner is lacking, but that he's a very skilled surgeon. I've heard great things about Dr. Jossart, and I would suggest you go with him if he's available since he has both the experience AND the bedside manner. I also think the extra fees haven't been worth it. I thought there would be follow-up tests, etc, but I just have regular appointments where I get told I am not losing weight fast enough, and the on-staff nutritionist is only so-so. She really didn't tell me anything I couldn't find on this board, and she didn't know about things that I *have* found on this board. So, my feeling is Dr. Cirangle is a great surgeon, but you might be able to find someone just as skilled without paying the useless fees. Feel free to PM me if you have other questions.
