Hi All, Very excited, scared, anxious....go through every emotion within a matter of 5 min. Any one else have a November 3rd surgery date?

I was sleeved on 11/03 and I am still exhausted.....ughhhh. I can do a couple of hours out and then I crash. I know I am not getting enough liquids in but wish I had more energy to.

Sooooo, have not lost a pound and have 2 weeks left...this is so hard because I just want to eat everything that I feel I will never be able to again. I am taking my vitamins and have gotten everything I need for surgery. Not seeing my surgeon before the surgery...but could he decide not do it the day I go in????

I can't stand these protein drinks anymore and do not know what to do...eating SF popsicals and jello which helps but is there anything esle I can eat...don't have any soup recipes that are clear or can be strained? HELP

Hi All, I am timing myself and having 5 pill shot glasses an hour 3 with Water and 2 with Protein drink....is that too much or too little....my brain is not functioning well.

Hi All, 2 days out and doing much better than I thought I would be doing. The worst thing so far in the neck and shoulder pain on my left side,,,is there anything I can do?.... I want walking, taking med,s and doing everything I am suppose to be doing. Please advise

Hi Everyone, Just learned for Blue Shield PPO that I need to provide a record for a straight 6 month weight loss program within the last 18 months...I did Weight Watchers but have no records...I fell so depressed now...WHAT CAN I DO?

Ok so I am scared to death..I have 13 days and have only lost 1 pound (my surgeon only requires 5-10 lb weight loss before surgery). People in my life think I can do this on my own..I am 254 lbs. and 5"7. I have only been overweight the past 12 years but have been on an up and down cycle the whole time. I WANT TO FIX this for life and get off the rollercoaster. Advice?

Definately, how are you feeling? have you been losing weight...does he require that?

So my therapist is concerned about my self-destructiveness- how will manage after the surgery? how will handle my addictive behaviors? how will my feelings that I stuff down with food emerge and what will that look like? I am scared to death...Is their any post-op's that can shed light here?

Hi There, I found you...glad to have shared this site with you and read your blog. We are sharing so many of the same experiences as are most people on this site. It is somewhat comforting to know the other person in the next room on Nov 3rd and maybe we can comfort each other, as only we can understand what this will be like. Maybe they will put us in rooms next to each other So a little about me, I am 42 yo and I live in Marin, have an 8yo boy and a 5 yo girl and have been with my husband Marc for 17 years (married 9 years). I have worked at Google for a long time and commute a long way 2-3 times per week to be there. I only started having weight loss issues in my 30's and was always skinny prior to that (similar to you). It sucks and I am completely depressed! For the past 10 years I have gone up and down and now I am sick of it. Recently got my husband to be on- board but he is still not happy about it, either is my therapist. But most other are...a lot of people have there judgements. Maybe we can get together sometime before the surgery..There is a support group in Novato on Oct 15th..my friend Teri is having it done with Jossart on Nov 30th and we are going..hope you can join us and we can get coffee or brunch after and talk.

Wow, sorry about the band I have a friend in the same position getting her sleeve in 4 weeks. Please be careful on going to Mexico--- have you really researched this doctor?
