The cruise chosen has been: (please read carefully)

Cabins held: (first deposits will have their choice of the cabins available)

- 15 Category N (inside, double) at a per-person rate of $651.96

The deposit due is $500 with a due date of October 2nd on the double-occupancy (final April 8th) and a due date of August 3rd on the triple/quads.

Airport transfers are available at additional fee or you can arrange your own transport. The closest airport is going to be Houston Hobby (intercontinental airport is much farther away). Airfare is up to you to arrange. This is cruise only pricing.

Trip insurance is optional as well. Rates vary. I will let you know when I get a definite price.

We will be all seated together for formal dinners, however you may eat elsewhere if you choose. More specific information on what to wear, what to pack, etc will be later when time is closer.

The cruise line will also give us a meeting place where we can all get to know each other and have a sort of mini-in person support group meeting. There will also be a fitness program on board the ship that can be customized to your own level. Of course you don't have to do any of this, but it will be there if you do.

**Payment will be made through Gadgetlady (Elisa) and she is a licensed travel agent with availability to accept all forms of payments. I teamed up with her so that all of you can feel comfortable with an actual travel business accepting payments and money. She will unfortunately not be able to travel with us so I will be your liason for the cruise.

***Single travelers can be matched in a double room or a triple with other single travelers. You can also talk with your LBT friends and pair yourselves up!!

All cabins will also receive a special surprise for their cruise!!!

Please PM me after you vote if you plan on attending. We will need to get our deposits in and then we can make payments as needed.

Please PM me with the following information:

Names of Passengers (as it appears on you passport)

Ages

Contact phone

Address

Citizenship (US, Mexico, etc etc)

Emergency contact person and phone number

Crown and Anchor # (if you are a member)

What Category room? Do you need a roomie?

If you need help with air arrangements (pm the city leaving from)

If you want insurance (it is somewhere around $39 or so)

If you need transfers to and from ship (it is about $40 pp I think)

Copy and paste the above into a PM is fine.

DO NOT SEND ME CREDIT CARD INFO!!!! YOU WILL DO THAT TO THE AGENCY WHEN THEY CALL YOU!!!!

Let's CRUISE!!!

I hope you all have such a wonderful tiem that you want to do it again. I would love to do it, but already had a cruise booked for the fall.

Hi! I didn't know the boat was leaving from Texas. Living in Florida, I wrongly assumed it would be from Tampa, Port Canaveral or Key West. I can't afford to go this time. Rats. Debbie

Okay, I have a bit of a statement to make. 31 people said that Yes, I want to go. I will PM you with additional information ASAP! It is killing me that some people that absent mindedly voted to go are now saying, oops, I guess not. Just as the band is about commitment, this cruise is about commitment. I am not really mad at any of you that have voted yes and changed their minds, nor am I mad if any of you changed your minds after the fact that you were going. I am just a bit hurt because Elisa and I have dedicated A LOT of time doing this and to set this up. I just want to make sure that we are all going for the same reason or at least in part. Not mad, just a bit hurt that some of you didn't take our efforts into consideration.

I am NOT talking about the people that merely just changed their minds right away but I am hurt about those that have strung the whole thing out and very much did waste my personal time and Elisa's professional time. Some of you have changed your mind SEVERAL times and that causes Elisa and I to do more work than necessary and THEN you say you don't want to go.

And please... some of you have been VERY appreciative of our efforts to bring bandsters together and I really thank you for the encouragement, support and respect you have given us. YOU are the reason why we wanted to do this. YOU are the ones we want to vacation with and really whooooop it up with next summer!!!

With that being said (just had to get that out), we are going to have a GREAT time. And it is going to be a BLAST.

I am looking so forward to meeting everyone... especially Jenna. Elisa has been such a big help also. I wish she was going. I think we are all gonna have a blast... I can't wait. Thank you both for putting this together and giving all of us the opportunity to meet each other and share our stories... and liquor!!!! LOL!

We had some people cancel, therefore we have open cabins!! Also, we have cabin with a roomie for someone that needs a roomie too and they want to come but have no one to go with! So come one, come all!!! Let me know if you want to go!

I may go. I may have to book on my own.I am waiting in my house to sell.

If I decided to go is anyone coming through East Texas? Im off I-20 at the 259 exit it goes from I-20 to 59 to Houston to and would love to meet some of you. If hubby does not go I may need a ride. Will pay for gas.

I am TOTALLY counting the days now!!!!...Can't wait...I think my family is getting tired of me talking about it now...And my amazing Hubby is already feeling the pains of being without me for such a long time...Poor guy...lol...Anyway...We are going to have such a great time...Looking forward to meeting everyone...Windy:biggrin1:

I would REALLY love to go on this cruise. Unfortunately with the baby coming in October and me being out of work for 12 weeks money is going to be very tight:cry . I do hope that there is something like this planned for 2008. That would give me plenty of time to start saving and putting money away.

What we did on our cruise to Alaska and our 14 day one to the Caribbean is use Water bottles for clear alcohol and diet coke plastic bottles for rum or bourbon. In each port of call, leave with the water you need to drink anyway and then stop at a liquor store and pick up your beverage of choice. I usually had a six pack of bottled water and then carried in my hand my refilled vodka water and walked right through the scanner with it. Never had a problem.

We also brought coffee type mugs with lids so we could mix our drinks in our room and then wander around the boat, sit poolside, etc. Saved alot of money and NO we are not heavy drinkers. I actually lost 5 pounds on the cruise.

ALso, it is much cheaper to not book excursions ahead of time with the cruise line. We waited till we got to port and usually if there were 6 or so of us it would cost almost half the price. And comparing at dinner, we usually saw and did so much more than the others. They bent over backwards to show us a great time. It also makes it nicer when you don't have to spend so much money and then tip after. If it was half price you don't mind giving them a generous tip.

FYI -- Our cruise director on the Alaska trip told us about the alcohol tip and on the caribbean cruise our cabin guy told us about the excursions.

I will see if I can arrange time to make it - sounds like you will all have a blast.

'HUGS

Carol
