Dr. Averbach banded me too--on January 19, and I have lost nearly 70 lbs. How did you like him? I've had two fills so far. Did he do your first fill in the hospital under fluroscope?

Yes, I do like him. He is very professional and business minded, but he has begun to loosen up more since I've gotten to know him. My first fill was this past Monday in the office, but he told me the next fill would be in the hospital so he could check on things.

Congratulations on your wonderful weight loss. You've been doing so well! You give me such inspiration!

Hey Leona, looks like we've got our own mini club of St. Agnes girls! :grouphug:

Well it has been a long day. Leona arrived at the hospital a little before 9 AM for a 11 AM surgery. They were able to start early and in less time then it took for me to watch a move they were done. She was in her room by 1:30. She is moving around with less pain then I had, for which I am so glad. Well I am tired so I am going to bed.

Hello All Leona's home and wants me to post this for her:

Thanks for your prayers. I am in lot of pain today and having problems getting in and out of bed. Mom has to help me but it is better then sleeping in the recliner. Well I am tired so I am going back to bed. Leona06

Thank you Barbara tell Leona to chew all of her vitamins and keep sipping. Both of you guys should be strolling around the living room and up the halls frequently. Get better you guys, see you lighter.

Congratulations Leona:clap2: :clap2:

I am glad you are home even though you don't feel that good but time will help with that. Take it easy and do what your doctor says and you'll be up and running track in no time:).

Welcome to bandester land;) and get some rest:notagree

thanks everyone! i'm doing ok... i was even able to get out of bed w/o help the first night at home... i'm just having gas pains in my tummy

not in my shoulder (yet). i went with my mom to the grocery store today and to walmart later in the day. walked slow but did it. walking is the only thing that is helping besides meds which i am gladly taking. i love my remote controlled reclining chair. its a lifesaver! just have an itchy rash all over my body.... weird... will post pics later. gn everyone!
