Thanks!!!! I'm still very happy with where I am. I haven't lost any in a few weeks, but am approaching the time of month where I lose ok. I'll try for a few pounds. Though if I don't... oh well. ;)

So I'm back at it folks!! I have tacked on 29.9 Lbs of FAT loss and undertaken a great feat. I'm trying to get my body fat to 29% which will place me in the "moderately lean" category. I do believe that will finally be it for me. I did this to get myself as healthy as I can, while still looking good. I think that will be the exact place. It will get me down to about 151 Lbs.

*Whew* this is going to be rough. I'd like to get there in six months!! Before my next Bod Pod Body Fat % Test.

I'll need to incorporate some weight training which I really don't like doing because I gain muscle so fast. I only plan to do 2 days per week and really only upper body for now. My legs will look like Ahhhnold's if I work em!!!

Auughhhhhghghgghhhhh!!!!!!!

Thank you!!! It's not going to be very easy. I already only lose about 4-5 Lbs per month now. So I'll have to stay at 5 Lbs per month or above to reach my goal in this timeline. However fat loss is different than weight loss, so I could still build muscle and end up heavier than 151 Lbs and still be 29% Body Fat. So... we'll see how I end up!!!

*hugs*

Diva, even if you only lose one pound a month, you are sill heading in the right direction. I am only losing around 3 pounds a month for the last couple of months... I am happy for it! I still want to lose 18 pounds by......July of next year. And most of that needs to be fat so wish me luck!

That is awesome Diva! Well done.

I am 4lb from 'goal', and am really pondering how you begin to move from a lifetime of trying to lose weight, to acceptance. I really hope to join you there soon xx

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
