Okay, I drank 11 oz. in about 15 minutes today. WTheck is going on?

Is my sleeve, sleeved? I mean, I'm only 11 days post op and today I drank an 11.5 oz Muscle Milk and I chugged it. I felt a little lump but it was only after I shook the container and realized there was none left that an alarm went off.

Did I just drink all of that?

OMG, maybe my sleeve isn't working anymore.

Anyone else experience this?

15 minutes isn't really "chugging" it. It is common anyway for liquids to be easier and easier to drink. It is when you add food that you start feeling the restriction. That is also when you need to start limiting fluids until at least a half an hour after eating a solid food.

Don't worry- you will know you have a sleeve. For now just be glad you can get the fluids in and get a lot in!

I have a higher tolerance for drinking than eating also. I can chug a drink is less than 5 minutes, but mostly because I was always like that too! I take allergy medication which makes me thirsty all day lone. With food, I have to stay within 4 oz. I think you will be ok.
