We are spending the weekend at Crystal Beach and plan to go over to the park either Saturday or Sunday.........will let you know what we think....One of my clients took his family a few weeks ago and they seemed to enjoy it.

We are going this summer, my husband won tickets on the radio.

Took visiting grandaughter a couple of weekends ago. The park is about half finished and extremly crowded. Very long lines for everything. Please carry an ice chest for your lunch and drinks. Only a couple of restaurants open and they are very expensive. Were not very together yet.If you are

staying for the weekend please do not stay at the Ramada Inn. It was the only opening we could get, but we did have a good time on the strand and the other restaurants were great. I just don't think they should have opened the park until it was finished.

Sallyjo - thanks! This is what I was afraid of.

From what Ive seen, I didnt think the park was finished, and I figured the crowds were extremely thick!

We would be going during the week (not weekend) towards the end of July. Hopefully the crowd levels wont be so high... ??

oh - and we will be staying in a hotel around the Kemah area.
