Fantastic Brand New NSV

Recommended Posts

I have family visiting me this week and we are having such a great time. Yesterday we went to Six Flags.

For the first time in at least 5 years I RODE every ROLLERCOASTER in the park(except the Giant because I just don't like it, and yes I've ridden it many time before)!

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I have missed my rollercoasters. They are one of the main reasons that I go to theme parks. I have to get my adrenaline fix somehow.

WOW, that is wonderful! I love Roller coasters but haven't gotten on one in about 12 years, since I tried to get on one and the seat belt wouldn't fit - talk about embarressed! I could probably try again now.

Good for you!!!! :clap2:

That's great!!!

You couldn't pay me enough to go on a roller coaster though!!! In the past I've used my size as an excuse to my hubby (who loooooves coasters) and so he goes alone....he better not try to drag me on one now!!! LOL....nOOOooooooooooooo way!!!

I can't wait to start riding the coasters! The last time I went to a park, I waited in line with my friends for 2 hours and then got on the ride and the seat belt didn't fit, so I waited on the side while they had fun. Then they all acted funny around me for the rest of the day, so I pretended I had a headache and we left... Great day, right?

Congratulations!!! I hate roller coasters - but am glad that I COULD fit in if I wanted to now - because now as I watch from the sidelines it doesn't look like I'm not going on because I can't fit -- but because its an actual CHOICE!!!! Congrats though! Enjoy your family and your newfound health!!!!!

Kristin

I need to update my nsv's:

1. My shoes no longer fit. They slip up and down when I walk and fall off completely if I lay down in the floor with my students.

2. I can get up and down off the floor in my classroom with my students and not moan and groan while doing so.

3. I sat in a student size desk today and didn't think twice about it.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
