egg burps? kind of off-topic, but didnt know where to post

i havent had surgery yet, im in the midst of all the insurance requirements...and the past few days ive been having what i call "egg burps", i have frequent little burps (nothing loud and obnoxious) that smell and taste like rotten eggs or sulfur.:yuck: ive gotten it before, but it cleared withing a few hours, this is the longest its stuck around, and its making me feel ill now. no stomach pains or anything other then the naseus feeling that is just starting to come on..

was just wondering if anyone else has gotten this..and any suggestions on what it could be/or some remedys?

if it doesnt settle down by tues im making an appointment(doc is closed on mondays)..but i really dont want to go see him, hes a mean old man that yells at me for being obese, and everytime im there i leave feeling like crap.

thanks ^_^

I looked it up online and it says its something to do with the kinds of foods you're eating. If you google "egg burps", you'll get a whole listing that'll be able o help you. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Usually related to biliousness - have you been eating higher fat levels than usual? That's what does it to me - horrible, isn't it

It happens to me when I eat late in the evening or night time and the food(usually meat or high fat/protein)just sits in the gut like a rock. So I try not to eat after 6 or 7pm. Good luck
