THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS VIDEO I DID OK TILL ABOUT HALF WAY THRU THEN BAM!!! I WAS DOWN FOR THE COUNT LOL :faint:

*laughs and holds smelling salts under THEQUEEN's nose*

I was ok until they were trying to push one of those ports through the stomach and then it finally gave way and went in. :faint:

I started to watch this, but decided that it could freak me out too much. My surgery is in 3.5 weeks.

I already made the mistake of watching a show on The Discovery Channel about Lap Band surgery.

I will watch it when I am recovering, or maybe in a year or so.

My surgery is July 5th, I started to watch, and tried to fast forward- but had to stop......eeek. Sometimes what you don't know-won't hurt ya~P

OK, just tried to watch that, but the second the scalpel went puncturing through the skin I was DONE! Too early in the morning maybe??????? I never thought I was squeamish before, but maybe it's knowing that they did that to me eeeewwwwwwwww..........can't do it!

I was just banded yesterday. Ouch it is too soon to look at that. One year from now, I will look back and laugh.... not today.

I'm being banded the same day as you and I think you've got a point!! My curiosity is awful, but to actually see what you will be having done is maybe too much right now -

I tried, I really tried. I make it to where they just did the first puncture and were getting ready to put in the scope, and I couldn't do it. I love to watch this stuff on TV, but it is always something that I don't think I will ever go through. I will try it again after I have my band.
