4 days out. Chicken broth in; Chicken broth out

I had my first "meal" since a day pre-op. A delicious chicken broth. The problem is that a few minutes later it came straight out and I did not even had time to get to the bathroom. I know it is a good sign that my bowels are working... but will it be this way? I am afraid of going out and having accidents. Anyone else gone through this? When do the bowels start to behave normally and send signs before just releasing contents?

My first "meal" affected me like that too. Surprise! But after that first one, no--I had warning and things got a tiny bit more cohesive...if you know what I mean.
