Only liquids the day before is a blessing. I didn't have to, but I did it voluntarily.

The thought of doing a BM after that surgery seemed REALLY painful to me, and I luckily thanks to only liquids, I never had to.

My surgery is tomorrow & yes I am doing clear liquids 24 hours prior. I'm sipping on my decaf tea now. Mine hasn't been so bad since my surgery is at 1 pm. So, I got to have breakfast & lunch.

This is standard with most doctors. I had one week of liquid diet prior to surgery and then the one day of clear liquids only. I had to start mine the day before Thanksgiving. But I would do it all over again to get where I am right now. I have lost a total of 51 lbs since I started my journey and 43 since surgery. I was sleeved on Dec 1st. I can say i am halfway to goal and only 2 months out. This has been an awesome journey so far.
