Hi everyone!

Its official, i booked my flight today and will be getting my band to sleeve revision on feb 10th with Dr Kelly! i am soooo excited, but im also very nervous. im doing this all by myself and im praying that there will be someone else there on or around the same time as me.

also, if anyone has a list of things to buy before surgery and a list of things i should take with me that would be great. i want to send a big thank you to everyone on this site. i have learned so much and appreciate all the support and suggestions during the last couple of months.

Mine is on Feb 7. I am also by myself. The day of your surgery I will still be there and probably will be already doing weel. Count on me for whatever you need. I will probably stay one more night at the hotel (hacienda) so we may meet there too.

that would be great! i saw that you were originally going with dr Almanza, but decided on dr kelly. was there any particular reason why? i keep going back and forth due to price. i dont think i could change it now if i wanted to becasue i have already bought my plane ticket and dr almanza is booked those days. the price is pretty good with him but i feel more comfortable with dr kelly. please keep in touch!!!

Congrats ladies - excellent choice of surgeons! I used Dr Kelly and found the entire experience to be AMAZING! Best wishes on your journeys!

I also had my ticket but Dr. Kelly was able to give the same date I was going to have with Dr. Almanza.

To be honest, I think Dr. Almanza is a great doctor and many people have been to him and had good results. However, those mixed reviews started to bug me a lot. Some people feel really strong against him, his clinic and his assistant and make very serious accusations. If it is true or not I do not know but I was feeling uncomfortable about it. Dr. kelly only had good reviews and for only a few hundreds more I got 2 nights at a full service hospital, private bedroom, a very nice hotel room also private and all the other benefits offered by Dr. Almanza. Since I am going by myself I thought a hospital and a more comfortable place would be more appropriate. I am very confident about Dr. kelly and the hospital. I think it is the best choice.
