Protein Drinks and Heartburn

Day One of liquid diet, and the Protein Drinks don't seem to be sitting well on my stomach. I'm getting a lot of heartburn, gas, etc. and feeling sick to my stomach after drinking them. Consequently, I've only had two of the five I was supposed to drink. I take Prevacid on a regular basis for reflux, but it doesn't seem to help with this. Any suggestions?

Sounds like what I experienced when I developed lactose intolerance. . . Can you drink milk without the gas and nausea?

I agree with Tiff...try nectar Protien drinks, peach is yummy, as is the lemonaide

I got some Lactaid-type pills at GNC today. I'll give 'em a whirl. Where can I find nectar?

They sell nectar at BariatricChoice.com . Not sure if GNC has it? I had the same issue.....Unjury ulflavored has worked very well for me. No issues at all. I have heard a lot of good things about Nectar because they have quite a few different flavors.

they also have it at the vitamine shoppe. Lots of people say to get the samples on the website so you don't have a big jug of it to get through. I just typed in "syntrax nectar Protein samples" and got lots of sites that offer it.
