Great story Tammy. I had started reading it earlier and become so engrossed in it that I was almost late to my pre op appointment! So now that I am home from doctor and picking up some wonderful liquid diet mix (day one for me) I had to come back and finish reading and tell you Thank you for sharing. You really had a trip to get your surgery! I am thankful I have insurance and will be in a hospital close to home and all the tests will be done in one place. Mexico can be scary if you have never experienced other countries before. Please keep us updated!

Tammy thank you so much for your blog, I had a great time reading it...so very interesting. I am glad that you have made it home safely and are on the other side. Good luck and keep us posted on your success!

Hi Tammy,

I read your blog. Very interesting story. Did you say you actually walked to the recovery room after surgery? Maybe I read it wrong, but I sure hope they wheel me in. I'm glad, too, that insurance is paying and I will be 45 minutes from home, that trip sounds grueling. Glad you are done and on your way to your new life. Keep us updated on your progress.

Loved reading your story! Good luck with the sleeve. My surgery was on Oct. 13th so we are very close post ops.

Thanks everyone! I swear it took me 3 weeks to finish that thing. Everything is going well and I will be updating again soon!

PS....yes...I walked back to my room. It wasn't far, trust me!
