I am 29 years old with a BMI of 34. I refuse to tell anyone other than my husband and mother about my decision to get the WLS. I don't want to be judged. I feel I judged myself enough ( ALWAYS IN THE NEGATIVE ) that I don't need to hear it from others. On the other hand this is a big deal and I need to share with someone. So I thank all of you for your posts and experience. It is appreciated.

I am 27 and getting sleeved early next year. I have told many, all my family knows and my hubbys family knows through my blog. Ive told my good friends at work, home and at Church. Im also going to start a video blog on Youtube documenting the journey. With everyone else, I figure if they ask after surgery I will tell them. Im so excited about the surgery I doubt I will be able to keep my mouth shut

So now that I am sleeved I am telling. Still not saying anything at work but have or will tell all my friends and family. Now that surgery is done I really don't care who knows. Kinda crazy how that all works. Surgery went great and I am already down 17 lbs. In just 10 days. So I say judge that suckers:)

I post on facebook and all my coworkers know and I have gotten a few cruddy remarks but I don't care . It is my choice to share I am not obligated to do so I choose to shout it to the world. You just have to do what makes you happy just as you chose to have surgery it is your choice who you want to share they news with. Best of lucky sleevers we are an elite group of women with a secrect skinny weapon
