Clothing choices are so much better in regular sizes!

I'm finally able to wear XL in tops and size 14 in pants! (previously 3x and size 22) I can't believe how much cuter the clothes are when you're not limited to the big girls section! For the first time, my criteria for deciding whether to buy something is not just that it fits, but that it's cute and looks good on me. I remember in the past when I'd be so thrilled just that it fit that it didn't matter if I liked it or not, I had to get it because that's all there was to choose from. I can finally be selective about clothes...gee what concept.

So long, Lane Giant!! Nice knowing you....helloooooo Macy's!!:001_tt2:

Congrats!

I was looking at skinny clothes online the other day and getting so excited! I could actually buy the cute and cheap Old Navy clothes for once! Can't wait!

Wowee, yes! I can afford to pick and choose now... In a store the other day I was trying on a sweater and asked a complete stranger (woman in her fifties) if it looked good or not (I need some shopping support still, it seems). What did she answer?

"Yes, it looks great because you're so thin."

Never saw her before in my life. She had no idea I used to be vastly overweight - perhaps the maintaining this weight idea and not losing any more is the right thing to do :) I felt like giving her a hug, she had no idea what that random comment meant to me.

I get so excited now, specially the other day when I went to buy jeans, size 14 Uk!!!!!!!! Still excited! Tops still size 16 because I still have tummy issues, I guess I need to hit the gym more!

Congratulations to you! I know exactly what you mean! I was finally able to clean out some of my clothes and even was able to fit into (comfortable) a size L top and size 12 jeans! WOOHOO! We definitely have to celebrate all the little things!
