I bought this awesome juicer about a month ago, cause I was having trouble with fresh fruits and veggies going bad. I wanted the nutrition that they have to offer, but I could only eat 1 or 2 stalks of broccoli, OR 1/4 c of fruit. Not together, and not very much. My husband hates most veggies, so they just went bad. Yes, I know, frozen is just as if not more nutritious as fresh, but the point is....I wanted the nutrition of veggies.
So my friend suggested a juicer. She has been using hers for years, and loves it. I went to Kohls and bought one on sale. I LOVE THE TASTE OF JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING I PUT IN IT !!! I also get the entire carrot, a full serving of broccoli, or other veggie I put in it...and can even put 5 different veggies in to make sure I get my '5 a day'. I usually put 1/4 c berries in my morning Protein shake, but now i'm thinking mix up 3 fruits and add my protein to it.
Anyone else try this ???
I log my food on fitday.com and found that my carbs are still in the 40 - 50 range for the day.
